Celebrating Future Talent at the CPA Stars of the Future Awards 2025

On Thursday 10th July 2025, HTS Spares had the pleasure of attending the CPA (Construction Plant-Hire Association) Stars of the Future Awards 2025.

This annual event is one of the most important in our industry's calendar, celebrating the emerging talent that will shape the future of construction and plant-hire across the UK. From apprentices and trainees to colleges and employers, the event shines a light on the individuals making a real difference in their early careers.

Supporting the Next Generation

HTS Spares was incredibly proud to sponsor the 'National Plant Mechanic of the Year Award', which recognises outstanding technical ability, work ethic, and dedication among the UK’s plant mechanic apprentices. Our Managing Director, Roy Knappett, was pleased to present the award to the winner - Jack Lovesey - from Liebherr Great Britain and NSCG Stafford College. Congratulations to Jack and to all of the incredibly deserving winners and nominees.

Words from Our Marketing Manager

“I was proud to attend the event with the HTS Spares team and to sponsor the Plant Mechanic of the Year award. A huge congratulations to all the nominees and winners. The level of skill, dedication, and passion on display was truly inspiring. 👏

It’s always great to get out and about, catch up with familiar faces, and meet new ones across the industry. Doing it alongside such a great team made the day even better!

Thanks to everyone involved for such a well-organised and uplifting event. Already looking forward to next year! 🚀”

An Industry Full of Promise

At HTS, we know that the strength of our industry lies in the people behind it - the apprentices learning the ropes, the mentors guiding them, and the businesses that provide the opportunities to grow. Events like 'Stars of the Future' not only reward excellence, but also highlight just how much potential exists in the next generation of plant-hire professionals.

It was an honour to be involved, to connect with so many inspiring individuals, and to support the continued growth and development of our sector. A big thank you to the Construction Plant-Hire Association for inviting us along and making the day such a success.
