Preparing UK Construction for 19th July (COVID-19 'Freedom Day')

With COVID-19 restrictions set to lift on 19th July 2021, ending all legal limits on social contact, you may wish to consider preparing your machinery, vehicles, offices, workshops and yards to avoid the spread of the virus amongst your workforce so you can continue to operate at full capacity. 

The Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) and International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) published regulations for those working through the COVID-19 pandemic last year. The government also provided guidance to keep construction workers safe during the height of the pandemic. Since then, and as of today (5th July 2021), over 78 million people in the UK have received a COVID-19 vaccination but there are a number of precautions that can still be taken.
