Charitable Giving

At HTS Spares we are commited to helping others and we proudly support a number of local and national charities each year, making substantial donations and offering our time and services to community projects. The worthy charities we select cover a wide spectrum of causes. We spend a lot of time researching their work done and many of them relate to circmstances that have touched the lives of our staff and friends.

This year we are pleased to be supporting 2 charities, each local to our depots, one in Hereford and one in Horsham. Throughout the year we will hold a number of events for each charity to raise money for both fantastic causes!

The chosen charity for Hereford is St. Michaels Hospice. They work to ensure everyone in Herefordshire and the surrounding areas, who needs and wants palliative care, has timely access to it and in a way that suits them regardless of age, gender, diagnosis, social group or location.

Horshams chosen charity of the year is Horsham Matters. They are a social enterprise set up by Horsham Churches Together (HCT) whose aim is to deliver projects that provide practical support to those who are in need in the local area. They aim to help those who are unable for whatever reason to help themselves.

Previous work

We have been commited to supporting charites for many years now. Here are some charitable causes we have supported in the past...

Would you like HTS to support your charity?

Although our ‘Charity of the Year’ is chosen by our staff, we very much welcome the opportunity to support other charities throughout the year too. If you would like HTS to support your charity or charitable work, please get in touch with Roy Knappett or click here to complete our nomination form.

Would you like HTS to support a project in your local community?

We enjoy helping businesses complete projects in their local community. Most recently we supported Jewson and Barnardo’s by supplying some of our items free of charge to help them create a new play and learning area for children at a Gloucestershire school. If you would be interested in receiving support from HTS for
a community project, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Roy Knappett or click here to complete our nomination form.
