It is well known that using circular saws on paving, blocks or kerbs can produce very high levels of silica containing dust. Anyone breathing in the dust will be affected and those using, or in very close proximity to, the saw will be particularly at risk. One way to minimise the dust is to connect the cut-off saw to a supply of pressurised water. A solution which, until now, has required an extra pair of hands to pump the water whilst the saw is operated.

Although the budget alternative is a popular piece of kit, found on many sites across the UK, the traditional pump system requires 1 person to pump the bottle to create the water spray whilst another person operates the saw.

The new and improved self-pressurising bottle offers a continuous flow of water with no need to pump. When filled from a tap, the Hose-2-Go's two heavy-duty chambers expand to hold approximately 14L of water, enough to provide 30 minutes of continuous water flow to the saw. This completely eliminates the need for the extra pair of hands on the water bottle.
Even at full capacity, the unit weighs just 20kg (44lbs), making it very easy to carry between workplaces, using the convenient handle attached.
This simple (but incredibly effective!) system means that there are no complex mechanical parts to replace within the unit itself. It requires no battery or electrics, instead using impressive self-pressurising bladders which dilate to push the water back out of the container, to the saw, maintaining a steady pressure for both cooling and dust suppression whether you’re cutting, core drilling and grinding concrete.
