Celebrating Our Outstanding Team with the HTS Spares Kudos Scheme

At HTS Spares, we're proud to be recognised as one of the UK's leading suppliers of construction and plant hire spare parts. Our catalogue spans hundreds of thousands of products, our next day delivery keeps downtime to a minimum, and our expertise spans decades. But behind every order packed, every query answered, and every new product launched, there are people - and those people deserve to be celebrated.
That's why we introduced a new internal Kudos Scheme this year.
What Is the HTS Spares Kudos Scheme?
The Kudos Scheme is our peer-led recognition programme, designed to sit alongside our existing Employee of the Month award. It's simple - any member of the HTS Spares team can nominate a colleague they feel has gone above and beyond.
We introduced this because we recognise that some of the most impactful contributions happen across departments. The warehouse team that accommodates last-minute changes. The marketing colleague whose creativity takes a product launch to the next level. The sales person who stays curious, spots a new opportunity, and shares it with everyone. These are the moments the Kudos Scheme is built to recognise.
There's no pressure to nominate every month, it's about genuine recognition, when it really matters.
Great Work Deserves to Be Seen
We've already received a fantastic wave of nominations, and the calibre of what's being shared is exactly what we hoped for. Here's a glimpse at some of the shoutouts so far:
Sophie has been recognised multiple times (and also won the Employee of the Month title in February!) for her constant positivity, proactive attitude, and creative contributions including the artwork behind our Holstor® racking banners and Holworx® branding. Incredibly, she did all of this while recovering from major surgery. She was also praised for her standout work on a recent product launch, bringing real creative energy and a willingness to learn something new to make the campaign bigger and better.
Tom has been highlighted on two separate occasions as a brilliant communicator, a genuine team player, and someone who makes cross-team collaboration feel effortless.
Myron has been recognised for his exceptional research into potential new customers and new business opportunities - and for consistently showing up with enthusiasm and fresh ideas for upcoming projects. You may even have spotted Myron in action on our Holstor® smart stock control content.
Fran was praised for her exceptional expertise and lifting those around her - always encouraging colleagues and supporting everyone to do their best.
Vicky W was highlighted many times for her incredible work ethic and her ability to drive her team forward, getting the best out of the people around her. She also keeps us all supplied with incredible home-made cupcakes!
Eddie received a shoutout for his total commitment and genuine enthusiasm around our growing Access Platform Parts range - with his support described as "priceless" over recent months.
Matt was praised for digging deep to track down and resolve customer delivery issues, navigating both courier and warehouse challenges - all while racking and lift installations were underway.
Kate was recognised for stepping up seamlessly after another member of the team left, taking on additional accounts workload and delivering clean end-of-year and month-end results under real pressure.
Oslo was recognised simply for "getting stuff done." Sometimes that's all that needs to be said!
Chris was shouted out for bossing it through sustained warehouse disruption, adapting to change, and finding solutions under difficult conditions without missing a beat.
I even received a kind nomination myself for the part I played in a recent product launch!
