Pin

The Newage Planet Pin (OEM 220-0250) is a replacement drivetrain component used within the planetary carrier assembly of compatible Newage axles. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The planet pin is subject to continuous loading and movement during operation, so wear can result in excessive play between the pin, needle bearing and planet gear. Inspect the complete planetary assembly when replacing the pin, paying particular attention to the bearing surfaces and gear bore.

When rebuilding the planetary carrier, check the planet pin, needle bearing, thrust washers and planet gear for wear or damage. Ensure the pin is correctly positioned and retained, and that the planetary assembly is correctly lubricated before returning the axle to service.
