Brake Valve Coil - Mecalac
Manufactured to OEM specifications, the brake valve coil is engineered to provide dependable performance in demanding construction environments.
The Mecalac Brake Valve Coil (OEM T161804COIL) is a genuine replacement electromagnetic solenoid coil designed for use with the brake valve assembly fitted to selected Mecalac, Terex, and Benford compaction equipment. Installed over the brake valve solenoid, the coil converts electrical energy into a magnetic field, enabling the brake valve to actuate and control hydraulic oil flow within the machine's braking system. This ensures reliable brake operation and contributes to the safe performance of the machine. The brake valve assembly is fitted to selected MBR71 HD rollers, with the replacement coil supplied separately for servicing the valve.
Manufactured to OEM specifications, the brake valve coil is engineered to provide dependable performance in demanding construction environments. Its robust construction offers excellent resistance to vibration, moisture, dirt, and temperature fluctuations, ensuring reliable operation throughout extended service intervals.
The coil is designed to fit the brake valve used on selected Mecalac, Terex, and Benford rollers, allowing the valve to operate correctly when energised by the machine's electrical system.
Suitable for selected Mecalac, Terex, and Benford equipment, including:
Always verify compatibility using the machine model, serial number, and brake valve specification before ordering.
Always confirm the correct OEM part number, machine model, serial number, and brake valve assembly before ordering, as different hydraulic brake systems use solenoid coils with varying dimensions and electrical specifications. Installing the correct coil is essential to ensure reliable brake valve operation and safe machine performance.
Common symptoms of a faulty brake valve coil include brakes failing to release or engage correctly, intermittent brake operation, warning indicators, or the absence of an audible click when the valve is energised. When replacing the coil, it is recommended to inspect the brake valve cartridge, electrical connector, wiring harness, retaining nut, and hydraulic valve body for signs of corrosion, contamination, or damage. Ensuring the valve spool moves freely before fitting the new coil will help maximise service life and restore reliable braking performance.
