The Thwaites 6 Tonne Alldrive Top Pin Kit is a replacement top centre pivot repair kit designed for use on pre-2001 Thwaites Alldrive 5, 6, and 7 tonne dumpers. The kit is engineered to restore the upper kinglink articulation assembly, a critical component of the dumper chassis that allows controlled articulation and oscillation between the front and rear sections of the machine while maintaining stability and steering performance.

Always confirm the correct machine model, serial number, and centre pivot configuration before ordering, as Thwaites dumpers utilise several different kinglink and centre pivot arrangements depending on model and year of manufacture. CPKIT8 is intended for pre-2001 Alldrive 5, 6 and 7 tonne machines and differs from later centre pivot kits fitted to post-2001 dumpers. Excessive wear within the upper pivot assembly can lead to poor steering characteristics, chassis misalignment, instability during operation, accelerated tyre wear, and increased stress on surrounding articulation components. When rebuilding the centre pivot assembly, it is recommended to inspect both the top and bottom pivot components together to ensure balanced wear and long-term reliability.
