Crankshaft Speed Sensor

The Perkins Crankshaft Speed Sensor (OEM T430705) is a replacement electronic sensor designed to monitor crankshaft rotation on compatible Perkins diesel engines. Working with the engine's timing ring, the sensor produces a speed and position signal as the crankshaft rotates, providing the engine control system with accurate information for monitoring engine speed and crankshaft position.

Designed for reliable operation within the engine environment, the sensor is used on a range of Perkins engine families and models, including selected 900, 1100, 1700, 2000 and related applications. The sensor is installed with a dedicated sealing O-ring and retaining screw, providing a secure and protected installation at the engine sensor mounting point.

The associated mounting O-ring should be replaced rather than reused when the sensor is removed, helping to maintain a reliable seal at the sensor mounting point.
