The HTS Spares 6 x LED Amber Flashing Flares (HEL1946) are rechargeable, magnetic warning beacons designed to mark out hazards, breakdowns and temporary works on construction sites, road verges and plant hire yards. Each flare runs on a 3.7VDC 750mAh lithium battery, giving up to 60 hours of continuous warning light from a single charge, and the supplied charging case keeps the full set topped up and ready to deploy.

Rated to IP67 for protection against dust and heavy rain, and built from robust ABS TPR material, these flares are designed to withstand the demands of daily use in plant and tool hire fleets, groundworks, and traffic management. Nine selectable flash patterns and a strong magnetic base make them quick to position on vehicles, barriers, cones or plant bodywork, giving site teams a fast, reliable way to improve visibility and reduce risk during breakdowns, deliveries, or low-light working.

Top tips for using warning flares on site
  • Position flares at eye level or on vertical surfaces where possible - visibility drops sharply when they're laid flat on the ground.
  • Recharge flares fully after every use so they're ready for the next call-out; a partially charged flare can fail exactly when it's needed most.
  • Space multiple flares evenly around the hazard rather than clustering them in one place, to give approaching traffic or plant operators the clearest possible warning.
