Top Tip
Know what a green warning beacon means
Green beacons are commonly used on construction sites as a visual indication that a machine operator is wearing their seat belt. However, this depends on the machineās electrical setup and the siteās safety procedures.
If the beacon is intended to indicate seat belt use, ensure it is correctly connected to the machineās seat belt monitoring system. A standard green beacon does not automatically detect whether a seat belt is fastened.
