1.5M Fixed Webbing Lanyard

The 1.5m Fixed Webbing Lanyard is a high-quality work restraint lanyard designed for use as part of a work positioning and restraint system. Manufactured from durable 40mm polyester webbing with a water-repellent coating, it offers excellent strength, longevity, and reliability in demanding industrial, construction, and access applications.

Fitted with steel screw gate oval carabiners at both ends, the lanyard provides secure attachment to both the safety harness and a suitable anchorage point. Sewn termination loops are protected by durable plastic wear protectors to minimise abrasion and extend the service life of the lanyard where connectors come into contact with the webbing.

Designed primarily for use on Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), this fixed-length lanyard helps prevent the user from reaching areas where a fall could occur. As a work restraint lanyard, it does not incorporate an energy absorber and must only be used in applications where a fall cannot take place.

It must only be used where the system prevents the user from reaching a position where a fall can occur. Before each use, inspect the webbing, stitching, connectors, and protective sleeves for signs of wear, cuts, abrasion, corrosion, deformation, or other damage. Any lanyard that has been subjected to a fall, fails inspection, or shows signs of deterioration should be removed from service immediately. Always use personal protective equipment in accordance with current regulations, the equipment manufacturer's instructions, and a suitable risk assessment.
