IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Micrometers should be handled carefully and kept clean to maintain accurate measurements. Before taking a measurement, ensure the measuring faces and component are free from dirt, swarf and other material that could affect the reading.

Store the micrometers in the supplied case when not in use and avoid excessive force when closing the measuring faces. For critical measurements, ensure the instrument is correctly calibrated and used in accordance with good workshop measuring practice.
